Okay we all know what this is. It's not some medieval instrument of torture. It's a ThighMaster and they've been out forever. They have multiple incarnations. This one is still available. They're only probably about $10.00 to $15.00 if you buy them new but you could probably find one in a second hand store if you really want to. These were developed several years ago and that even though they have been advertised heavily by Suzanne Somers an interesting tidbit I found on the web in fact they were developed by Joshua Reynolds who is a fitness expert and also heir to the RJ Reynolds Tobacco fortune. Who knew? Well besides using these to tone your thighs and I'm not going to do that coz I don't want my son to ever run across the video of me on the web using a ThighMaster you can also use this to tone arms and if you go to ehow.com and search ThighMaster you'll find a fitness person who has put a list of probably half a dozen exercises on ways you can use this and make use of the resistance to tone your triceps your back your stomach and obviously your thighs. It's a simple idea: a metal tube covered with foam with a hinge but it does work probably not as well as a lot of other things but if you don't have a room for a big fitness area in your house this is great. It'll fit in a closet you could take it out and use it in combination with other exercises that you're already doing. So give this one a try. It's funny but it does work. This is the ThighMaster.
