why doesn't my sprayer seem to empty??

I am using a homemade spary for moles - doesn't kill them just chases them away to my neigh.bors yard. 4 cups water/ 1 1/2 tsp tabasco / 1/Tblsp dish soap / 1 tsp chili powder. Am I doing something wron

I use those homemade formulas too. Sometimes the powders like (chili powder or garlic) can clog the tube. Take the top off remove the straw and rinse everything with water. Other than that, I don't know why it wouldn't empty.
